Today is my birthday and this is the first time in 9 years I've celebrated it without Bianca. Tina, my sweet and dear friend remembered and sent me a beautiful poem.
Today is a day for memories-
Those of days long gone,
Those of days just passed,
And those of days to come.
Never forget the people
Constantly surrounding you,
As well as those who once
Stood by your side.
Though the sky may be dreary,
Do not forget the sun shines.
Though the moon may be hidden,
Do not forget it always returns.
Today, say a prayer that
You've longed to say.
Today, look at the sun
And smile at your troubles.
