New cars, old teeth, plans large and small
So! Big stuff has been happening lately. The biggest? I HAVE A CAR!!! My grandmother finally decided (after much persuasion from her kids) that she didn't need her car anymore, and she decided to give it to me! 'Cause the only thing better than getting a car is getting a car for free. XD It's a green '96 Toyota Tercel, like this one: http://www.mikesautosite.com/mediac/400_0/media/002.JPG
I haven't done a whole lot of driving in it yet, and I'm not quite up to highways yet, but yesterday I drove all the way down to South Shore Plaza and back (about 30-35 each way on the back roads), and tomorrow I plan to drive out to Brockton.

The not-quite-so-happy big stuff is that I've been getting a lot of much-needed dental work done, the most recent of which was getting three teeth removed yesterday. My jaw is pretty sore. :( And I'm not quite up to solid foods yet. But, hey, it's better than having them stay and turn the other teeth bad - and they were all at the way back of my mouth, so it's not noticeable.
And (back to happy) today I'm going in town with Tom and Nick and Higgins to go geek shopping - comic book stores and Pandemonium Books and Games! I am excited.
Oh my god, did I forget to post about my really exciting plans? May 20th to the 27th, y'know where I'll be? LAS VEGAS. I will be in Las Vegas for a week, with Tom and Missy and their mom. Hooray! I am so so incredibly excited. We've been counting down the days (27 left), and it's been hard to resist the temptation to start packing already, haha!
