I don't normally make New Years' Resolutions, because normally, I make my resolutions whenever I think of them. This year, I happen to find myself in the midst of some big changes right at New Years, so; why not?
I've got a lot, and I'm not going to try and tackle them all whole-hog at once, 'cause that's a sure recipe for burnout and failure, but, here's the master list:
Excerise regularly. Get buff and get to the point where I can run full-speed for a minute or two and NOT spend the next half-hour gasping.
Eat right. Balance my meals, make sure I'm eating enough of everything and not too much of anything.
Cook regularly.
Get to sleep on time every night, or as close to every night as possible.
Play bass more. Get ridiculously good at it.
Write more songs. Get really good at it.
Get and keep my room clean and organized.
Craft more often, and finish things quicker.
I'm going to use kaizen, the Japanese principle of small but constant improvements. I'm borrowing a book from Tom about it called "One Small Step Can Change Your Life".
I'll try and post my progress as I go along.
