Welcome to 2008

I don't normally make New Years' Resolutions, because normally, I make my resolutions whenever I think of them. This year, I happen to find myself in the midst of some big changes right at New Years, so; why not?

I've got a lot, and I'm not going to try and tackle them all whole-hog at once, 'cause that's a sure recipe for burnout and failure, but, here's the master list:
  • Excerise regularly. Get buff and get to the point where I can run full-speed for a minute or two and NOT spend the next half-hour gasping.
  • Eat right. Balance my meals, make sure I'm eating enough of everything and not too much of anything.
  • Cook regularly.
  • Get to sleep on time every night, or as close to every night as possible.
  • Play bass more. Get ridiculously good at it.
  • Write more songs. Get really good at it.
  • Get and keep my room clean and organized.
  • Craft more often, and finish things quicker.

I'm going to use kaizen, the Japanese principle of small but constant improvements. I'm borrowing a book from Tom about it called "One Small Step Can Change Your Life".
I'll try and post my progress as I go along.
