Lately on LJ or furaffinity I've seen a lot of opinions about body types. What is attractive and what isn't. What is healthy and what isn't. And I've seen a lot of comments suggesting that being thin is not natural and that larger women are what is more natural. Now, I don't know what is natural for anyone else, but a size 2 with a 25 inch waist is pretty damn natural for me. This is also because I am small and petite. And I know this is not natural for everyone, but its starting to tick me off a bit that some people think that me being thin is obviously fake and unnatural. Its almost like there is this aversion to being thin by certain people just because it may be what the 'main stream' thinks is beautiful and they want to rebel against it. I kow everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but its just...obnoxious. Lots of body types are beautiful, not just skinny, not just over-weight. And the other thing that bothers me is this idea that being small and thin means you cannot be curvy. Yea, you just try telling me I'm not curvy. Try it, I dare you. Whatever.

In other news, I'm so excited for next week. Kevin and I are going to see Muse! For all those who were wondering and I never told you, Kevin's Valentine's day surprise was two tickets to see Muse. Yesterday we had a lovely time at the Santa Barbara Zoo. This is my favourite picture of the day.
EDIT: Hey, so today I went ahead and made the
hybridexchange2 since the original is on haitus and has been for almost a year. Spread the word that hybrids once again have an exchange all of their own!
