The drive down wasn't too horrible, mainly because we stopped at the bottom end of Georgia on the first day instead of trying to make it all the way down to the beach in one day.
I only managed to listen to one disc of The Silmarillion on the way, because I kept wanting to make squeaky noises every time Martin Shaw said something in Elvish. Say my LJ-name! Say it!
Today before we even GOT to the condo, we had lunch with my aunt and uncle, accidentally established that my cousin has a girly voice, went down to my dad's cousin's house and were treated to more seafood than I have ever seen in one place, had a chat with a 4-year-old relation of some sort, and established a plan for Lisa's best friend to come visit with us (even though, sadly, the Lisa herself is not here). Also I recorded the voice-mail message for my aunt and uncle's business. They asked Mom to do it, but she knew I'd done a few lines for Chronicles of Humanity, so she went "Oh, make Sarah do it--she's got a voice credit on IMDB." *facepalm*
Anyway, we made it. The condo is incredibly nice--it has a balcony with an ocean view, and my room smells ever-so-faintly of old books. I am not going to want to leave in a week. :)
