When you get right down to it, I'm actually a bigger geek than my long-haired, metal head, PC game-obsessed, Nintendo fanboy, Anime nerd, code monkey boyfriend. He only played D&D because I wanted to and his buddies from work needed 2 more for their campaign. He only watched Firefly and Serenity b/c I'd only seen a few episodes and Steve loaned us the discs. He's only seen the Lord of the Rings movies once, and hasn't gotten to reading the books. Star Wars? He's not interested. Star Trek? He went b/c I wanted to see it. Harry Potter? He's seen because I like it, and is going to read the books once I get them all. I don't need him to fix my computer or hook up my DVD player: both of us know how, but I can generally do it faster than he can. I'm the one who waited and saved and shopped around for our Wii and games. And I'm a theatre geek on top of all that too. :D
My best geeky shirt: an almost too small black t-shirt with white lettering "D-20 shirt of Smiting", or an almost too small brown t-shirt with a picture of Jayne Cobb captioned "Kicker of Asses". :D My next one will be purple with pink lettering "Huge Tracts of Land". :D

Yay! Not only are you a geek, you are like a geek evangelist! Introducing others to tabletop RP and Firefly. Because the world can never have enough Browncoats.
Much as I love that "Huge Tracts of Land" shirt, I fear it would look completely ridiculous on my...rather small tracts of land. ;)
