Today I took a walk in the woods in my shirtsleeves. It was the best day ever.
No, seriously, it was 67 degrees this afternoon. Even though it was overcast and breezy, I still didn't need my jacket. Of course, it'll suck that much more next week when it's 18 degrees, but I'll live.
Because tomorrow? We're supposed to have thunderstorms. \o/
And hey guys, guess what? Twilight fanfiction is super bad. I was pretty much expecting it, considering that the fandom seems to skew really young, but...damn. I'm really mystified by the massive tide of IZ CAN BE HYOOMAN TIEMZ NAU? au fics. I mean...you'd think, when the canon offers you tons of supernatural mythology to work with, that people would want to use it instead of making them all high-school students and sekrit strippers...meh. I'll hunt for LJ communities later; maybe I'll have more luck there.
