When I came back from astronomy at 2:15, it was windy and blindingly sunny.
Starting at about 3:00, clouds rolled in and the wind reached truly vicious status--from my window, all I could see were the branches of trees tangling against this incredibly violent purple sky. Now all of that's stopped. It might be raining a little. The clouds are still there--growing even darker as the sun sets--but the wind has stopped.
If it were any month other than January, I'd probably be hanging out in the laundry room (it being windowless and ground-floor, of course). WTF, Ohio. Seriously.
You can actually watch it getting dark. Also, the wind's picking up again; the trees outside are bending so far one normally-vertical limb just bent horizontal and clattered against my window. Yes, I jumped about ten feet.
I JUST SAW LIGHTNING. Honestly, what is the matter with this state?!
