you want to climb the ladder, you want to go forever

So I got up this morning, running late for French class as always. I burst out of my room, ready to sprint up the hill and hopefully turn in my homework before she marks it late, and I see a note on my hallmate's door. In pink marker, it says something to the effect of "Please remember to turn your alarm clock off, because it goes off for more than an hour." That I can understand, because it does go off a lot, and it is a particularly brain-melting alarm. I think it would be nicer to knock on her door sometime and just ask her to make sure she turns her alarm off, but that's just me.

The note is signed "The Hall."

Ummm, excuse me? I am a part of the hall, but I was totally unaware of the writing of this note. Sure, it didn't mention me by name, but the insinuation is that I was involved and the hallway has somehow united in a four-person alarm-clock-opposition front. I do not like being associated with things when I am not involved in them. If the girls in the hall decide to start a revolutionary group and attack the president, the note they leave had better not be signed "The Hall." I want to be the one in the interview saying "Oh, they were such quiet girls," not the one in FBI custody saying "OMGWTFLAWYER!"

So I scribbled something at the bottom of the note about how I wish people wouldn't write notes posing as a unanimous front unless the members of this supposed front were consulted. But I didn't say it all confusing like that.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to make eLouai dolls in the image of my NaNo characters.

nano, life
