You know what? I realized today that I really enjoy having my ISS blog (
humber_iss). I've never really been one for art or creativity (example: my failed music "career"!), so being able to speak my mind on something technical, something really exciting, really speaks to me. It's so rewarding to have my professors and classmates asking me when I'm going to update, and if I've updated recently. Not too long ago, the club we've been working on creating got officially santioned by the school. I was feeling a bit under the weather, and I didn't update the blog that night when I got home. My good friend Gino said to me, "Patrick! I checked the blog a couple of times last night, and you didn't update it! You have to do it!"
This space that I've created here, which you are reading right now, is pretty great. I may not update this thing as often as I'd like to, but it's still home to me. There's a certain satisfaction, though, in the other blog which I can't quite get from here. I need a space where I can let my true dorkiness shine without boring the heck out of everyone here, and the other blog is the perfect place for that.
I invite you to go there, and read about today's adventure, where I was on the roof with my favourite professor. And then check back in a few days, when I post the pictures from said adventure!
