Today's my last exam for this semester, thank god. I'm stressing out pretty big about my DC Circuits course, since it's the prerequisite to all of my electronic-based courses next semester. If half the class passes that course, it'll truly be a miracle. I could go on and complain about my professor and how I think he could improve his teaching style, but I won't get into that here. The scary part, though, is that he's going to be my professor next semester for AC Circuits, and then again next year for Linear Circuits. I'm kind of at a crossroads as far as this does. I've tried all semester to work hard on DC Circuits. Even when I was in dire, kidney-stone related pain, I showed up to his class! I worked hard in his labs. I did all my work, and I completed all my assingments. The material covered in the class was completely different than the stuff on the quizes, tests, and the exam. At least I'm not the only one who feels this way.
Forgive me, I'm still new to this college thing. I don't quite know how to handle this.
Anyway, I've got a pretty busy few days ahead of me. As I mentioned, today's my final exam. After the exam, I have to head over to the mall to find a frying pan. It's quite the eventful life I lead, eh? Tomorrow, Paul and I are going downtown for an afternoon of Pocky, electronics, and possibly beer. Friday, I work in the morning, then I'm going to see Sarah Slean with Bren, Cherie and Jordanna. I'm super-excited about seeing Sarah, I tell you what. I just realize that all the concerts I've ever been to have been Canadian bands. The Headstones, The Tea Party, Joydrop, and now Sarah Slean. I really love Canadian music, I tell you. I feel American radio-worthy music is just way too generic and dumbed down.
Scratch that. I feel that most radio-worthy music, Canadian or American, is too generic and dumbed down.
But I digress. I'm hoping to get "home" to Welland this weekend. I've got to clean out Mom's basement, which I can't say that I'm really looking forward to. It's a dirty basement, and Mom's a packrat.
I'm impressed with how fast December's flying by. New Years is on it's way, and soon I'll be in my second semester. In case you're wondering, here's my schedule for next semester. I'd put it under an LJ cut, but I don't know the code for that. On my computer, I have a program that'll insert a cut by pressing a button.
