Saw my first Christmas commercial today. The season starts earlier and earlier every year, and it's really starting to upset me. Even if you consider November 1 to be the start of the Christmas season, that's 1/6th of the year. This kind of commercialism really makes me angry.
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of giving or receiving gifts over the holidays. The one thing that I must do, no matter what, is to make sure that I spend some time with everyone that I love. That means so much more to me than gift-giving.
I guess, though, that people don't love you unless you give them stuff. Yep. Everyone needs stuff.
