"For now. I think I've seen what I want," he said, voice low, as he walked past her and out of the door. She shut it behind him and leant against the wood. Definitely, definitely fury, she thought as she brought her hands up to cool her burning cheeks.

Really love the characters here -- perfect, especially Gwen at the start, hiding her excitement at setting up the outpost.

I don't even know the film's canon, but really enjoyed this. I have to see Black Narcissus now. :D

Thanks. I'm glad the characters worked for you, I didn't know if the balance between them being different because they're in a different situation but still essentially the same would come across.

Black Narcissus is well worth seeing, although it is very mcuh of it's time so there is quite a bit of 'aren't the women hysterical and the natives childlike' in it.

Wonderfully intricate play with the characters, and I love how you tied up the ending. Great job!

I wondered how this one was going to be done...especially with Ianto as Sister Ruth! But you did it so well, without Ianto being too 'mad' or 'girly'...
I've already said this, but this challenge is wonderful! Classic films I love PLUS Torchwood!

I always think Sister Ruth gets a bit of a short shrift in the film so I really enjoyed putting Ianto in that role and playing with it a bit, I'm glad you enjoyed it too.
