I had a great one-liner realization earlier, but now I can't remember it. I sit here sifting through my day:
~ turning in my 12 page story for class, all 5 copies of it.
~ getting through German, which for some reason felt really long (oh hey, that was it! Here's the gem:
An A seems perfect, until you realize someone else got a better A.
I'll continue on with the rest of my day, anyway.)
~ You can accidentally lock a Subaru's parking brake on. Hilarity follows. Hilarity being panic as I get out my book, which doesn't seem to explain exactly what to do, but I figured it out. Driving 18 mph up Lovell and pulling off to a side street, hoping that loosened it enough before pounding on the button so hard that it hurt my hand. Success. A cautionary tale.
~ To 5/3 to cash my check, where I had a nice chat with the teller, and then Subway for lunch because I didn't want to go home.
~ Home: 2 pages on the play, 2 pages for my paper, four pages printed off for German, and one page finished up for my story. Then out to lie in the sun for a good long while. During this: laundry! Because I grabbed my last clean pair of underwear this morning, and let's just say it isn't a casual everyday pair. Content yourselves with your imaginations.
~ Back to K to pick up other people's stories, one of which is missing. Then hanging out in Beaner's, correcting and having a "raspberry chill." Now up here on the second floor, waiting for 7 and the German movie.
Thank you for caring.
PS - oh yeah, I got a 94% on the awful, three question, 200 point German exam from last Wednesday. Yay! :-)
