What if I told you that I may have quite possibly had the best vacation of my life? It's my last April vacation and it was amazing...it is amazing. It's not even done yet and I have a gut feeling that these last two days will treat me well.
I've been to New York City, a place that I have never been. I met my
amazing friend of three years over the internet in NYC for a day in Monday, and she proved to be as sweet and sincere as I knew she would be. She gave me this amazing book called tThe Perks of Being a Wallflower. I have read it TWICE and it is hands down my favorite book, ever. (My life is so ironic--I've read this book twice where I can't or won't even read my english book once for AP English...MWHAHAHA, I'm bad) I brought along my good friend Tory--which was a bonus since her and I rarely spend time together. I got to go to an NBC tour, go to TRL, go in all these shops, buy two cute shirts (one Friends and one TRL from the MTV store). I went on this ride called the Empire State Building SkyRide with my parents and Tory, and I thought it was fun except for the part where I didn't feel so good 'cause of all the rapid motion (lol). I had a wonderful Easter prior to leaving for NYC with my family at our house on Sunday morning. I was able to go up to UMaine at Orono for three days, two nights, and spend a great deal of time with my brother and cousin...I met all their friends and realy and truly had so much fun! It just further improved my desire to got o college. We stayed up late, watch some movies and even went out at 2 in the morning to a restaurant while driving in my cousin's truck and listening to country music (which wasn't that bad). Then they showed me around at the different dorms and I even went to a class with them to see what it was like. When I got home, I had enough time to messily unpack my clothes, go tanning, and then get ready to see TINA! Tina, Ash, Ker and I went down to the fire station in the beach and walked around downtown...it was so fun...today I am about to take a shower...go tanning with Cassie, and then see Tina again! She's going to stay over my house and then we're going to do whatever...I'll get up and go to 9am, she'll sleep, adn then the four of us (Ker, Ash, Tina, and I) will hang out in the afternoon until Tina has to leave. *Then* I'll finally realize the insane amount of homework that I have but I won't be stressed. Want to know why? It's fourth quarter...and I'm a senior...I'm into college and as long as my grades maintain at honor roll my life will run smoothly.
5 weeks left folks.
I'm so happy right now.
Love Always,
Jessy
