notes & comments,
Someone, I can't remember who, asked me for a tutorial on this wallpaper.
So here it is for all of you. The wallpaper was easy to make so this
tutorial should be quick and simple to understand! So i hope you all enjoy it!
starting our base,
Open up a new document, it can be whatever size you wish to make your wallpaper.
I opened a 1440x900 sized document for mine.Flood fill the canvas with #f2ce81. You
can pick a different color if you wish, your wallpaper to be colored differently. But
because this wallpaper is yellow, we want a yellowish background. Now its time to place
your first brush. So grab the
flower stem brush textureand place it on your canvas. I placed mine near the bottom left corner of my base. Set the brush texture to Multiply 100%.
Now its time to start placing your
taylor momsen pictures. So First I resized the image too 421x595 pixels and placed it right on top of the
flower stem texture. Than I moved the layer below the flower stem texture so that it looks like taylor is standing on top of the texture. Set the layers blend mode to Darken 100%.
Than you can grab an eraser and erase where the flower brush texture covers the picture of taylor.
I then proceeded to do this two more times. Each time, I resized the picture of
taylor momsen, and followed the steps above. Although on the second picture of Taylor I changed the blend mode too liner burn 100% and the third too multiply 100%
finishing up,
And now the finale steps. Take your
flower brush and place it right over the top of your flower stem texture brush and set the blend mode to darker color 100%. I placed the flower brush on top of the other brush to make it look, as if they belonged together. And because I really liked how it all flowed together. Make sure to erase any of the texture that may be covering Taylor. Than take your finale texture,
the text texture and set the blend to multiply 100%.
the coloring & ending,
Open yourself a new layer and grab a large brush. The size doesn't matter, seeing as how,
you may have a different sized wallpaper than someone else. Set the layers Opacity too 35%.
And make one brush click on your canvas with the color #ffffff. I wanted to add a foggy/white
coloring to the wallpaper, and by doing this, we now have that effect. Next open a new selective
coloring layer by going up to Layer>>New Adjustment Layer>>Selective Coloring. And use the following settings,
BLACKS:
0,0,0,+100.
And finally make a new Brightness/Contrast layer, by going up to Layer>>New Adjustment Layer>>Brightness/Contrast. And use these settings,
BRIGHTNESS: +3
CONTRAST: +18
And now you are done!, I hope everything made sense, If not feel free to ask questions.
I would be more than glade to help you out! <3333.
