Fall
Can you smell it? Fall is in the air! These next three months are the best three months of the year!
I drove out to my parents' home tonight...the pine trees are starting to lose their needles while the maples are coloring...the drive out to my parents' is windy and entirely encompassed by trees. The whole way is orange, red, yellow, brown and in some cases, its still green. The best part is that through the trees, you can see lakes go on forever and ever. It looks like a postcard.
Of course, it is much too hot out to be fall yet. It was in the 80s today! That sucked! Fall means 50-60s. That's the best temperature. Keep in mind, I love -60 degrees too (as long as there is snow on the ground). I am so excited!
Also, and this is slightly goofy, since it's September it means I only have two years to wait for my wedding! My fiancee and I set the date for 9-22-07 (fall equinox) because, well, I'm still in school and we're still young (I'll be 23 when we're married...he'll be 26). We've got time. But aren't I pathetic to be excited for a date two years away?!?! Oh well!
