[ONE weird thing]
you know what ALWAYS annoys me in crime shows? the fact that the cops/whatever knock on a door & wait like three seconds before assuming the people living in the house are either dead or not at home (mostly they assume something bad's happened though). it's a bit of a tiny thing, but also a detail i just can't get over... it sometimes takes me ages to answer the door; i mean, what if a person's asleep or in the shower, or something. *sigh* i hope no one ever assumed i was dead when i didn't answer the door after the first knock.
[TWO tv babblings]
• i realized why i never watched more of fringe than the pilot and the first two minutes of the second episode - it's so damn, horribly creepy. and not in a good way. i mean, i usually like creepy, but this *shudders* that pregnancy thing in the 2nd ep - almost makes me throw up D: (and definitely makes me shut off the tv)
i WANT to watch more of this show though, because i think it's probably gonna get better - and the actors are great, it's completely gorgeous & it's got a kickass female lead. and *looks miserableish* i usually love these creepy-mystery-thingies. i think there's something's wrong with me...
• doctor who, the hungry earth. i - i liked it. it wasn't anything special, but i liked seeing the doctor interact some more with rory. although the fact that they saw rory/amy from the future was the weirdest thing & didn't make a lot of sense *shrugs* and that there's a whole city underneath the earth ...oh well, *handwavy gesture* at least there were some awesome old school who creatures running around & stuff. (i hope there's gonna be a lot more amy in the next ep though)

+ if there is anyone who hasn't seen this yet: a partial map of the TARDIS by alibi_factory . absolutely brilliant - it's funny and beautiful and... oh god, i want to see some more of the tardis in canon, *siiigh*
+ a few sherlock holmes fanarts by paperflower86. in this entry holmes has watson's mutant duckling-children + watson and holmes draw each other + holmes holds a most important meeting with the assembled members of the cast to discuss the state of the watson, *draws hearts*
+ a very cute & kinda clever doctor who fic, with a time-crack-twist. martha comes home to a bowtie wearing stranger sitting on her couch, eating kippers with marmite (i have no idea what it is, but i sounds strange) - strangers with bowties by sciathan-file
