another new show (+ fic recs)
EEH. i've started watching women's murder club. finally. and it's made of sparkles and awesome & even more awesome! i can't belive it's taken me so long to start watching this... and i can't believe there are only 13 episodes, *despairs*
finally there's a procedural filled with awesome, strong, different women & it gets cancelled after one tiny season. IT'S NOT FAIR. this show is the first time i'm fem-slashing all over the place. seriously, i adore all the girls so much! & the guys are adorable as well. especially jacobi, ♥. and oh yes, JOE FLANIGAN, *draws hearts around him* he just popped up at the end of the episode i just watched... *happy sigh*
goddamn, i want more of this show!
and i need to vid it. like right now. i haven't found any decent wmc vids so far D:
(and i need to find myself some great icons too... the only apparently decent wmc icon maker i've found has locked all her posts. have i ever mentioned how much it annoys me when i have to friend someone just so i can have a look at their icons & decide if i like them enought to maybe snag one? cause i sort of, really really do. very much)

+ lagolindari wrote me a stunningly beautiful holmes/watson fic - all he could do (to keep breathing). holmes takes care of watson & it's full of tenderness, gorgeous writing & that little bit of angst to make it perfect. just so lovely, ♥
+ another: you were just so conveniantly there by wistful_fever . a supernatural, sam/castiel fic that really wrenched my heart. how do these characters still manage to affect me so much - i haven't seen the show for about two years now. but still, this is a brilliant, gut-grabbing fic full of awkwardness & all around awesome.
+ a kiss is... a gorgeous thing by bowie28 . absolutely adorable ficlet - criminal minds, hotch/reid, the different ways of a kiss. from chemistry over algebra to philosophy. poetic and heartwarming & kinda, very much perfect.
