This was absolutely gorgeous, heart-rending work. I loved it. For what it's worth I was so sure that hollywoodgrrl had made it, but hopefully that is taken as a compliment as it's certainly intended to be. :D

& actually, that is about the best compliment you could make! i was really excited to see that people didn't guess right away that i made this - it made me all flaily that people thought hollywoodgrrl or danegen or someone was the vidder :D

hee, i'm so very happy that you like it this much! i was more than a bit nervous, especially cause the vid doesn't show the women fighting back as much as i intended to... somehow it just didn't work out :/
& i'm actually glad you didn't ask for a reid vid, *g* (cause i already made that one)

& aww, we were the only ones requesting cm? the world needs more vidding cm fans!

I recced this here before the reveal, and all that still stands, only even more so now that there's a shiny .avi copy where the full skill of what you did comes through.

It sounds a bit pretentious, but I keep wanting to say that this is the perfect example of vidding as a tool for feminism in the face of mainstream media.

wow, thank you so much! it really means a lot to me that you say this - because usally i'm bad at expressing my thoughts clearly in any form (talking, writing, vidding, ...); i'm glad some of my thoughts & feelings came through with this.

Loved this one. It's nice to see videos with different subjects than the usual character or pairing videos. Loved the editing, and the music fit perfectly. :)

i think vidding is the perfect medium to show aspects of a show/movie that otherwise get a bit lost... i'm very happy this worked for you :)

hee, thank you so much.

right now i'm using ulead videstudio 10+, but i started out with windows movie maker - which is for free & very easy to use. you should try it, vidding is so much fun! :D
