i need to finish this, *grits teeth & goes back to glaring at the timeline*
or maybe not quite yet: two general, john-centric/team-heavy stargate atlantis fics that i enjoyed while i should have been festividding -
+ [bigbangstory] a wing and a prayer by kriadydragon. sga plus dragons. and griffins. and a search for atlantis. this starts where the actual series started - everything is slightly different, but still a bit the same. wonderful characters, great plot, really well written... and oh yes, there are DRAGONS, ♥
+ [epiclengthed] long ago (and far away) by kristen999 & everybetty. a wwII AU, absolutely wonderful. malaria, beautiful (and scary) natives, a crashlanding on some (possibly cannibal infested) islands, awesome flight-action scenes - one of my favorite aus in a long time. diligent & gorgeous.
(random: i wonder if there will ever be a merlin rpf big!bang... *hopes* i want some epic bradley/colin stories!)
