i'm reading fanfic for hercules: the legendary journey, eep. what is wrong with me?! i've seen about five minutes of that show, and i kinda hated it. but somehow i still like reading about these characters D:

a sort of au story set when hercules & iolaus are still a bit younger. they try to join jason & the crew of the argo. a wonderful, action packed story stuffed with h/c & excellent ocs. sadly there are only men... *eyeroll* but it's awesome and epic, full with gods & monsters, assassins & heroes. and while it's gen (no pairings), it's in a slash friendly way :) i really kinda loved it.
& she's written more stories, also in that same universe... YAY.

jake is a new vidder (to me), and i kinda discovered him by chance. he makes apparently loads of awesome, action packed movie vids :)

we (= those who can't go) should really make a squee-post for the poor, staying-at-home kinda guys or something, on vidding... that would cheer me up a bit.
also: damn, i still haven't finished my thing for vid_commentary & i'm already a couple of days late, *sigh* i know why i should never sign up for stuff that has to be finished for some deadline. i can NEVER do it!
