oh god, i have a new ship. i've continued with my classic who watching & finally watched all of turlough's eisodes and... OMG, I LOVE HIM. he's such a wonderful mixure of sneaky-cowardly-clever-protective-absolutely wonderful. he's a warrior (fighting with hatstands!) and a schoolboy and an alien redhead and i ship five/turlough ... ship it like

Woohoo! :D Turlough is amazing. Have you seen any of the DVD commentaries? I may have just a wee crush on Mark Strickson after watching them, he's such a sweetheart.

I don't ship any Doctor/companion pairings, but if I did, I could possibly have a soft spot for Five/Turlough...

Looking forward to seeing your Turlough vid. (Because if I assume you're making one, you might feel guilted into doing so. ;))

turlough <3 <3 i can't belive how much i love him ... he's such an interesting character & his relationship with the doctor is utterly fascinating; even in a non-shippy way.
and i just ordered the black guardian trilogy on dvd - i can't wait to listen to the commentaries! YAYY.

& agh, i absolutely want to make a vid about him! my vidding muse is driving me crazy right now. but first i need to find a good song (do you have any ideas?) + get his episodes on dvd - i have them in such bad quality right now + i need to get my computer back ... *sigh* this old laptop i am using right now can't handle video editing :(

Oh well, if you're a little in love with him, I can admit that my 'wee' crush is a massive one - I adore both Mark Strickson and Turlough to pieces. It was the Black Guardian DVDs that tipped me over the edge, so I'm sure you'll love them! ;)

Afraid no ideas for songs as you always make vids to beautiful songs and my musical knowledge unfortunately runs more to the mainstream pop end of things.

(I have always toyed with the idea of making a Turlough vid to 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood' - maybe the Nina Simone version, or Cat Stevens - as the lyrics are perfect. But I've never quite managed to make it work - if you could, I'd love to see what you could do with it. :D)

aw, it's a beautiful name! i was actually thinking of naming my next cat after him... i don't think i would name a kid after him though - he's not exactly such a good character ;) although he is incredibly awsome, of course. so hmm, maybe...

Found this rec via veni_vidi_vids, and can I just say, WELCOME TO THE CULT OF TURLOUGH. He is the very best sneaky ginger!! Five/Turlough is one of the all-time best things about DW, no lie. I love it quite insanely. And I had never seen this vid before!!! Thanks for the rec!! <3 <3

HEE, \o/ OMG TURLOUGH. i'm so glad there are still turlough fans around :) when i was watching his episodes & falling more and more for him i was afraid of being all alone in my love for him... but there are so many people that still ship five/turlough *happy sigh* they are kinda perfect together.
+ if you have any recs... vids or fic or anything, i'd be really grateful ;) i've already read a bunch, but i'm sure i'm still missing some.

then: omg, i've just read that first fic & it's so amazing *flails* i wished there were more like that! i love it so much, even hough the ending was a bit heartbreaking :| but protective-over-turlough!five is probably my favorite thing right now *happy sigh*
