Bakota

I've got a beautiful journey to the ukrainian canyon Bakota. Yes, I was able to find three days in my tough working schedule. Yes, I'm not a robot anymore. So, please hold your breath and let's go to see some photos.

The nature of the region is very similar to California one. Actually I've got some kind of dejavu going through the forest using trails. The same small trees and shrubs, flowers, light ground etc. There are no useful pointers with lengths and other statistic stuff, but the overall impression of the trip is great.

1) Going up to the white rock

2) Turn right and you will see the great water. It's Dnister river. It's said that thirty ears ago there was a small village Bakota which was drown by f**ing communists. Those bastards don't like villages, it's known fact.

3) This place I loved more than other. The combination of hot opposite sun, huge oak as a cover and fresh breath has made my day.

4) From the top of the rock-edge, we're able to see that some bad guys has started to build a few houses in the protected recreational area. That is a very common activity for Ukraine. By the way the view is great.

5) The whole region definitely looks like San Francisco Bay Area, if somebody build Golden Gate Bridge here then I'm going to think about the chance of living on the one of the hills.

6) One more photo-prove that Ukraine is a golden place in wrong hands.

7) Hypnotizing sunset.

8) To understand the depth and hight and width of the picture, just imagine that it's a big 3-floor boat in the center.

There is an ancient monastery in the middle of the rock. There are a lot of icons and ortodox stuff there, so I decided to avoid such kind of pics, because we all don't like ortodox culture. Anyway I guess you wont be wrong if you find a few days to invite the place. It's just one more unpopular ukrainian miracle.

It's not far from well-know fortress...

Guess the name of it. Bye-bye.
