no. seriously. i kind of think some artists are starting a revolution. and its amazing. i mean look at radiohead, they were without a record company and they put their album up on the internet and said PAY WHAT YOU WANT. and you could pay nothing and get it. and some people did pay nothing. but A LOT of people paid something because they love the band and wanted to support the music. and they made a lot of money (which of course NIN went and copied them but whatever power to the people). and it BLEW people away, the whole idea of it. and a bunch of other artists were jealous (because they would never have the balls to do it or they're too imprisoned in their numerous record company deals to be able to legally do it)

i say bring it all on.

because most of these execs kind of don't know shit. they think they know what people want. but they are just pretty much messing with people's art. and i say if someone releases something. and thats what came from them. and people don't like it. well then, fuck at least its honest. its what they intended.

ahh see look who's getting rambly.

I like your style.

I agree. I'm excited to see what happens in the next, say, five years. I'll bet more and more artists just skip the middle man and put their own content online. It'll be a beautiful thing.

Until the internet companies start charging for bandwidth. Whee.
