new years eve was as boring as heaven..
i'm not even going to look back on 2007. for every horrible shitty thing i can think of an awesome thing. so why even try.
though i could talk about whats really important. MUSIC.
my favorite album of the year would definitely be Band of Horses "Cease to Begin". i was obsessed. and i think their concert might have been the best one last year too. but i think its tied with seeing Manchester Orchestra in St. Louis, John Mayer in New York, and the Brand New myspace secret show. oh and let me NOT FORGET matt skiba solo at bottom of the hill. AMAZING.
ok so my book count for 2007 was 22. figures with that number. BUT i did start maybe 3 books and only read half. so i could logically say 23. but i won't. i really think i can do 30 this year. i just have so many books i want to read. and if i don't focus myself it won't happen. life goes by too fast. but my favorite book of 2007 that was actually released this year was Rob Sheffield's "Love is a Mixtape". amazing. i'm actually going to reread it this year.
best movie? of course i want to say Inland Empire. or something. but i think Inland Empire was just one of the movies i was the most excited about. i can't even think of anything particular. i think i saw more movies this year than ever. and not a lot of them really stood out. you know the kind where you can't wait for the dvd? yeah. i really liked Waitress though.
