Last night's dinner was so good, I did it again...

It was one of my &'it? want it? grab it and throw it in the pot' ideas, and it consisted of

50 g or ¼ cup of dried lentils
½ cup or about 56 g of brown rice, uncooked
1 handful of almond slivers

several dashes of cumin
1 dash of hot Hungarian paprika
3 dashes of freshly ground black pepper
½ clove garlic, roasted or 2 dashes of dried garlic
2 drops of almond extract
1 sprinkle of red pepper flakes
1 pinch of sea salt

1 handful of broccoli
1 handful of spinach

Shockingly, it was bring-me-to-my-knees good. (I've made versions of this before with results that were good, but not the spectacular result of last night.
)
Tonight, I added

1 large sprinkle of very hard-dried pecorino Romano

Would you believe it tasted even better?!?!
