i found this little guy in the street last week and i told my brother and his girlfriend when i got home that i saw him and they ran out and caught him and put him in our backyard and we fed him carrots and he just sat there calm as anything while i patted him and took photos cause he's a little sweetheart. :)

went to the annie leibovitz exhibition at the mca with elly (oceansofnoise ) and stared at her amazing portrait of william s burroughs for about five years. love him.
got an $80 myer voucher for doing a product test and i bought myself some new mac eyeshadow and the girl at the mac counter gave me a generous sample of their black eye paint pot which i will definitely be buying some of once mine runs out!
i also bought this dress with the voucher cause it was on sale.

i'm being kept on at work after christmas as a casual instead of just a christmas casual and i couldn't be happier about it! i was really upset at the thought of having to leave after meeting so many great people there so i spoke to the two managers about the chances of me staying on after christmas and apparently they have to cut down everyone's hours a lot (which is understandable because it's never as busy after christmas) but they're going to be keeping me and that thought makes me so, so happy. it's definitely the most fun job i've ever had and i get along with everyone so well, i love it there.
i also got in contact with sydney festival and i'm going to be working on festival first night in january which is great news! i really need to start working on building a career in music/events so that will be my first step next year.
as i said above i went to peter and his housemate leah's christmas party and a whole bunch of us sat around watching christmas movies and eating christmas food and we did a secret santa and exchanged presents and everything. i had a really great time. :)
i'm working on christmas eve but after work i'm getting the train up to the central coast and being picked up by my parents because we're spending christmas at avoca this year. i haven't really felt any christmas cheer this year but i'm still looking forward to spending the day with my family.
