I've been thinking about something for about a week now and it's really starting to bug me because I honestly can't think of a good enough answer to my question.

There are parts in Twilight where Edward says things like "It's only cold to you, Bella" clearly insinuating that the cold doesn't affect Vampires. But then there are parts where he is holdiong Bella's hand and says things like "It's so warm". So my question is:

Do Vampires not feel the cold or heat at all or can they feel them but are just not be affected by them?

I myself thought that maybe they are just not affected by the cold or the heat but that really doesn't make much sense because then why would they be able to still feel them?

I really don't know and I'm just starting to confuse myself.
