part-time transfer?
I've been working for Target about a year now, and for the most part, it's an alright job. I mean, it does have it's totally god-life-sucking-terrible days, but really, that's any job. I'm 17 and I'm an Electronics Team Member. So, I have two questions:
1) Even though I'm part time, and not 18, can I still transfer to another store? Would I have to fill out an application at this other location or just go talk to the manager? I'm thinking possibly, they might need Electronics Team Members, as my store is stacked with them, and whenever I go to this other Target, it seems like there's only one guy in Electronics, or in that side of the store. On the other hand, my store is considered "high volume", and this other Target seems significantly less busy. Any suggestions?
2) As anyone actually moved up in Target? It seems at my store that it rarely happens and it just takes so long for it to happen. I would ideally like to persue some kind of Specialist position during college. So any examples of people moving up, or not moving up, would be appricated.
