So, I'm very positive about working for Target.  I really like the company, and am actually starting to consider if it's something I'd want to do for the rest of my life, which is strange since I'm getting my masters in education and have wanted to be a teacher since elementary school.

That being said, I'm getting frustrated with exactly how I was thrown into the signing  specialist job at my store.  The girl I took over for did very little for the month before I started, so I had TONS of old stuff to do just to catch up.  I'm just now putting stuff out that was supposed to be set 7/15.  It's frustrating because every pallet I get is coming with more and more signing, since this is the busiest time of the year.

That being said, I really wasn't trained at all.  She was with me for two days, showed me how to do a few things, and then the rest is up to me.  My boss is a nice guy, don't get me wrong, but I think he's expecting too much of me in my first few weeks.  Today I worked 12 hours (6am-6pm) just trying to catch up in the steel.  I finally got everything clean and am working on the pallet that came in last week, and have the pallet from this week up in the steel waiting for me.

I dunno, I just wish there was some sort of RTS or anything at all to get me through.  One of my GSTL friends said I should ask them to let me train at a different store with a signing specialist.  It isn't a terrible idea, but I can't lost anymore time with what I have to do.

Anyway, just a little rant.
