About Osaka
A quick reference to anyone unfamiliar with her. Kasuga Ayumu (or Ayumu Kasuga if you're going to be all Western about it) is from the Azumanga Daioh manga/anime. I've only read the first volume of the manga, so I'm playing her more from the anime. Her nickname is Osaka because she moved to Tokyo from Osaka, despite being nothing at all like a "typical" Osakan.
She's a sweet girl, but... she tends to be off in her own world a good deal of the time. She usually tends to fall asleep when she does this, too, and dreams vividly. She is incredibly naive which makes her seem a lot younger than she really is (17 or 18 as I'm playing her) and takes things at face value. She's a bit slow on occasion, and has a tendancy to talk in a very stream-of-concious manner. I read somewhere that she seems to lack a mental filter, and I'll believe that. She doesn't do well on tests because she can't quite seem to pay attention long enough to study, but she's very good at thinking laterally. She has a morbid sense of humor on occasion.
In conclusion: Osaka has a sometimes tenuous grip on reality, likes just about everyone, has no talent for deception, is prone to weird thoughts, is terrible at sports and sports-like events, falls asleep midway through the page, and looks at everything with enthusiasm.
