Sound off to the credit card companies!

Dec 01, 2009 21:04

Now, most of you know me well enough to know I don't spam your in-boxes or anything like that with every damn thing that comes in mine or some group or other that I belong to. However, I'm very damn angry with a bunch of these horse whoring collection agencies and the rest of these God damn leeches that I AM copypastaing this one.

"I just told the top brass at the credit card companies exactly what I think about their recent rate and fee increases. They get to borrow for almost nothing, but they want to charge average families 25% or more? The card game is rigged, and it's about time customers spoke with one voice.

A bill that might have helped was blocked by a single Senator before it could be debated--even though it passed the House by a wide and bipartisan vote. So Consumers Union is making it easy to speak to the biggest banks directly.

I just sent an email to the CEOs of Chase, Citibank and Bank of America demanding that they halt the rate and fee increases now, and telling them that I won't play this rigged game anymore. Would you do the same? Just go to Consumers Union's website, http://defendyourdollars.org/, to add your voice to this effort.

Thank you!"
