Unexpected uplift in spirits
There was nothing worth doing, and nowhere worth going at 8 tonight, so i decided to watch the AFI best 100 songs from movies in the past 100 years. I was surprised at how many songs I was familiar with, considering that not many of the movies were recent (after 1990). The songs were pretty much all familiar,though. I hope more specials about the AFI are on, they might have a few more happy surprises. My summer's been relatively boring, a few (very few) grad parties and some hanging out with friends, otherwise, it's been the most boring summer in a while. Haven't even wandered up to the movies for much of anything, it's pretty pathetic to go alone,I think anyway. Have some planning for my party on Sunday to do, get cake etc. Having a relatively okay time working alone on a few pet projects though. Well, hope everyone's enjoying there summer.
