I actually teared up at this. God. Gaila. I ... think it is a high compliment that I can't imagine the Dance, that it just makes me want to see it.

I think part of it is because Team PikeOne just had a group rewatch of "The Cage" which is actually one of the only canon sources about Orions. And I was thinking a lot about Pike's mental image of the Orions, versus what little we know in canon. And also, I was thinking a lot about "Bound" which folks try and ignore but I actually am intrigued by the idea that what people know about the women who control the Syndicate is only what they want outsiders to know...
