Gaila, Green BFF?
It occurred to me that Gaila is the black err, green friend in this movie. *She's* playing the role I expected Uhura to play, tbh. *lol*
Providing a smile and occasional supportive wink, but not really fleshed out.
She was the black dude from Not Another Teen Movie saying "DAMN!!"
But I also think she's getting far more attention from new fandom than Uhura would in a similar position.
So, between green Gaila and the blue people from Avatar I'm wondering if Hollywood's new trend is moving alien skin into the roles, red and brown skinned folks usually play.
