Raiders Win, finally....
Monday night I finally got to see a Raider game. I haven't seen one in over a month, honestly, so I couldn't really write about them. But everything I'd been reading wasn't good.
But Sunday night in a blizzard here in Denver, they showed me something.
They showed me that, unlike last year's team, they do have heart. Even had they lost the game, they showed me they were willing to fight, to keep playing hard.
And Ronald Curry's one-handed grab in the end zone was spectacular. And maybe, just maybe, they can build on this game. They won't make the playoffs this year, but maybe they can spoil a few other team's chances. And who knows what can happen next year? Sunday night's game has me optimistic.
On an unrelated note, Menudo is making a comeback. Look for auditions coming soon. God help us all...
