Hey long time no post. Been busy working on this comic Dinopopolous, 24 pages, B&W, published by
BLANK SLATE I AM STOKED. Hopefully going to have a dustjacket type thing like the fantagraphics ignatz series (if you haven't seen any of those what are you doing go buy any of the Ganges books by Kevin Huizenga or Babel by David B, there are other awesome ignatz books that i can't recall right now) so i can put in some colour strips hidden away. Can't wait.
Now for those of you that like big posts, enjoy! And those of you that hate them, i'm sorry
KABOOF BANG
Here is a page I scanned unfinished (without borders on those top and bottom panels) Using a swanky new nib, a Hunt 107 I think.
This stuff is all for an experimental project for uni. I took a shine to acrylic, so I did a bit of that. Painting random shapes onto cardboard and then drawing into them.
^^^ Comic of my cat Ozzy for my Dad's birthday.
^^ First ever pixelart. I like the title Space Dingus, going to use that as a comic title at some point.
^^^ Big piece for "Numbers" another uni project.
^ same project as pic above
Obviously this is copyright The Hergé estate, but i just scanned a bunch of slapstick panels and put them together for my archives. Really pleasing to read.
NOW HERE ARE LOTS OF SKETCHBOOK PAGES
