You can't run once I like what I see - [OTA]

It's an interesting day on camp when Ade no longer feels the need to simply walk from place to place, but rather turns off his field of gravity and simply floats along the hallways. He crosses out of his bedroom, having been listening to music but instead being in the mood for something a little more interactive he goes to stalk some.. ( Read more... )

There's a flash of what might be annoyance, but it's rather quickly pushed back, Worth just shrugging one shoulder, "Fine. Why?"

He's not usually the one word answer sort of guy, but he's not exactly the chatty type all the time either. Factor in the fact that he is actually playing tetris right then and--- dead. Sighing, Jane flicks the game off, placing it on the table and leaning back in his chair.

"Bored stupid, you?"

He raises an eyebrow at the Tetris, probably unbecoming for an older man but Ade will just catalogue it for later, he rests his arms on the table while staring at Jane.

"I don't know really, I'm fine... looking for something a little more fun around here." He'll leave it at that, either he'll have fun flirting with Jane, or pissing him off. Either is fine for him.

Jane might be 'older', sure he's probably one of the older guys with all the younger soldiers moving in, but most of the time, Jane's a bit of a geek, and an immature one at that.

He fights the urge to roll his eyes, he knows that the kid has a bit of a rep for hitting on just about every male in the camp. It was fine, harmless mostly, and Jane wasn't too fussed. But he rarely rose to the bait. "My best guess is that you've probably already found anything...fun to do."

Ade leans back and crosses one leg over the other, biting his lip slightly to stop himself laughing. Truthfully some people might be offended by it but Ade knows his reputation and more importantly, knows how more of the serious soldiers view him, he slept around but that was just his thing.

"Oh please, I haven't found everything yet, you never know when fun things might pop up here or there, Jane." Mincing his words like that is also another of his skills, at the very least he might just make Jane uncomfortable.

This time, Jane does roll his eyes -his sister is just as immature at times, but he'd never actually had to deal with her 'innuendo' because Lou was just far too awkward for that stuff. And really, Jane wasn't the sort to view Ade as a 'kid sibling' or anything like that.

He was just a little bit of an attention needing kid that fucked about.

"Popping up isn't a problem for you, is it?" Jane just grins through the mild irritation. He knows better than to show his annoyance, because that just feeds the cycle, and Jane would rather not have the issues to deal with. Worst came to worst, he'd smack the kids head and walk away.

"No, it's not. Must be the vivacity of youth." He smirks and leans forward, staring straight at Jane. "What about you, any issues in that department?" Ade essentially was a pain in the ass when it comes to people he can't fuck.

He proceeds to do inappropriate things to a coffee stirrer, looking suggestive in a completely obtuse manner. "I mean, you're kinda getting on in the years. I hear they have these special pills and things to remedy that."

Pain in the ass is right; Jane hasn't actually met a soldier that's even half as annoying as Adrian gets. Hopefully, he'll grow out of it. But there's no point in holding his breath in anticipation of it.

"That would be a no," and Jane is pretty much over the conversation. "I'm mid-thirties, kid, not dead."

He smirks into the lip of his cup, draining the last of his coffee and stifling an out-right laugh. He places his hands on the table and pushes his chair out.

"Mid-thirties? Really..." He stands and makes a grand gesture of looking Jane up and down. "Honey the world has not been kind." And with that, he laughs again, and walks off back toward the exit to the mess.
