The less furious shaking of the jeep finally suggested that it was slowing down and they were either taking a pit stop or they were finally at the base. The total halt of movement and the screech of a handbrake told him where ever they were, they could be here a while. But the soldiers next to him started to move out so maybe they were at the base ( Read more... )

No. It couldn't be. It couldn't be but it was. Scott Summers himself blindly climbing out of the jeep. For whatever reason he didn't have his visor which meant he couldn't open his eyes and the guard was just going to leave him there. Tsk tsk. The soldier really should have known better with this crowd. How could she not mess with him a little bit?

Creeping silently, using all her ninja training, she slid up next to him with a smirk. He was just the same as the last time she saw him. Maybe a little younger but definitely just as rigid. She hadn't met him in a dimension yet where he wasn't. She couldn't blame him this time though. New place, blind, and left to defend himself, Betsy would be on edge too.

One would think the sympathy she felt for his situation would be enough for her not to fuck with him but alas it wasn't. Leaning in close to his ear, she whispered "don't open your eyes". Then moving behind him, between him and the truck, she slid her arms around his waist as her hands felt up his chest.

Even as she did it, she knew she'd pay for it later. Afterall, she had no idea if this version of Scott even met this dimension's version of her. Not many on this team had. So there was a better than average chance that he wouldn't see the humor in it. It was just too good an opportunity to pass up.

Scott, though he had been straining his ears to hear for anyone's approach, failed to hear Betsy creep up towards him. He was blissfully unaware of her until he heard her voice whisper in his ears. Startled wouldn't describe his reaction to her but he managed to force himself to remain calm so he wouldn't start his experience here with a bang.

Well that was what he was hoping for. But at the rate her hands were sliding and caressing his chest, he might just have to hurt her. A bit. Not knowing who she is, for starters, meant he didn't appreciate her 'actions' at all.

Rather than standing there and letting her continue Scott, though he was at a disadvantage, lashed out blindly behind him. Trying to push her away from him. The fact that she also managed to sneak up behind unnoticed unsettled him as well. He was not in the mood to be taunted or messed with.

And Betsy was being a master at doing just that.

Given that she was right up on his back it was just a bad spot to try and fight her. He was mostly flailing and every now and again connecting with an elbow. Betsy laughed after about 30 seconds and slid into the truck backwards. All that goofing around with free running and parkour made it easy for her to slide through the cab and fluidly navigate out the driver's side window up onto the roof of the truck.

The key to all this was silence. If he heard her coming, he could anticipate her so she didn't want him to hear her coming. That meant when she crawled across the roof of the truck to Scott again, her movement had to be slower. The man was really tense. She felt kind of bad but it wasn't as though she was hurting him. That was how she was justifying it to her conscious.

Sliding down so her upper body was dangling over the truck's edge, Betsy just stayed there upside down for a moment watching him a second. But only a second. Even blind people got a tingly feeling when another person was close and she knew it would be the same for him. So before he could start batting at her like a pinata, she kissed him on the forehead and pulled back.
