Getting back to basics [ota]
With the ban on leaving the rooms lifted, Jane had been pretty much ready to get back to his routine. He knew that things were a tad more lax around this place, that the rules and regulations weren't as tight, but it was a lot to let go of in a short space of time. So he stuck to his usual.
It meant he was up with dawn, running his usual five miles, even if it was circles, before he discovered that he could indulge in his fondness for swimming first thing in the morning when everyone was just pulling themselves out of bed. By eight in the morning he'd completed the morning work out that he'd missed for the few days he was quarantined to his room.
When he gets to the mess hall, his muscles are that deep tired sort exhaustion that comes from a good long work out. He was pretty much ready to just sit there an enjoy a coffee and figured out what his afternoon was meant to be.
