Peace at last - Open to all.
With confirmation of the cure being administered reaching Ethan quickly, after the first bag had been connected up to those that were sick, put into action his the process of removing the camp wide quarantine. He'd keep it imposed on the medical center for a little longer, just to ensure that the disease was contained, but with Doctor Chandler so confident in her own abilities Ethan wasn't about to bend over backwards and keep the entire camp on lock down.
Two days after the cure was first administered Ethan finally allowed the healthy members of the team to have access to the camp which had been cleaned, sprayed and decontaminated as well. There were still a couple of rules in place, no team member was allowed to venture into the medical center without explicit permission granted and everyone was expected to have any final blood tests and check-ups to ensure that they were 100% clear of the illness.
Ethan had made a point of visiting Angel whilst she was confined to a bed in the medical center, because there was no way he could remain in lock down the entire time. Instead he went for daily blood tests and changed out of his uniform into scrubs every time he entered the building.
But once he gets the all clear Ethan lifts the camp wide lock down. Finally everyone is free to move around and start getting back some normalcy in their lives.
Over the last ten days he's slept no more than four hours a day, has had to halve his PT time, hasn't shaven properly in the last day or two so there is stubble on his face and bags beneath his eyes and Ethan still has a ridiculous number of phone calls to return, emails to respond to and meetings to attend. But for now he was in his office, desperate to relish the first five minutes of peace and quiet that he'd had since the outbreak.
Slouched back in his over sized and rather comfortable ergonomic office chair Ethan presses at his temples and sinuses trying to stave off the headache he can feel threatening.
