It probably was a normal day in the Mess Hall, at least until she walked in. She'd only just been written into the facility and had already made her way, wearing her usual birthday suit, straight to the most common area in the fort. She deliberately walked with an undeniable sense of pride and power, even though she'd downgraded from leading her

"So here you are. You certainly took your time. I was beginning to think you would never show up." Chatting her up with a matter of fact air, Martini plopped down into a seat backwards and rested his arms on the back of the chair. He'd seen this one in his visions before. It was hard to forget a blue woman, especially one that figured so prominently in Rogue's past. He wondered if Rogue had connected the dots yet or if she was still trying to figure out the cryptic clues he had left for her.

"You were expecting me, then." She purses her lips. "Who told you I was coming?" The only thing putting her on a cautious edge right now is her lack of knowledge on the power's of the other mutants, and her natural born despotism wanting to know exactly what makes each other person in the fort tick. Not knowing how these people interact with Rogue was also a big factor into the way she viewed her so called team mates, so for now she's being pleasantly inquisitive.

Martini's weirdness censor was much different than other people. A naked blue woman didn't even phase him, but when a section of his mind finally took a look at her time line and realized it was astoundingly long, it finally pinged that it was a little strange. "Whoa. You're old." Tactless, yet rude. A brilliant combination.

However when he does make this comment she uncrosses her legs and puts both elbows on the table, leaning into him in an interrogative manner that you only pick up after days of severe questioning in some form of prison establishment. "And how exactly do you come to that conclusion, pretty boy? Last time I checked I keep my cells at a thirty year old level."

"But enough about you." He leaned back in his chair. "I haven't even introduced myself. Rude manners. Terrible thing to have. Pretty sure they were the downfall of Rome. I'm Martini." He held out a hand for her to shake, the wrist and arm covered in watches.

"Mystique." She has nothing to say about the quality of his manners, nor any reason to make him either an ally or enemy just yet, even with the power he's already exhibited, now the only thing she's interested in is information.

"So, Ms. Mystique," Mark said as he pulled a green apple out of a jacket pocket and bite into it with a loud Crunch! "What brings you to the humble abode you now find yourself in?"
Reply
"It's just Mystique." She then takes the time to morph into Emma Frost "I couldn't turn down the invitation." She morphs back again almost instantly, she just finds that most people find the odd quirk of becoming a different person, even for a moment, rather unsettling.

He was even more interested in her now than he had been before. "So can you change into anybody?"

She smirks slightly, enjoying the fact that this new place might just be full of other impressionable mutants and she could do a little revolutionary work of her own.

"I hope you will stay a while, even though we've had such a horrible time of things recently. Everyone's minds are a little frazzled and I just can't seem to snap 'em out of it." Of course, what had happened in Spokane with Rogue absorbing Ric wasn't something easily forgotten, but for Martini it was already in the distant past.

"Oh, I'm staying.. I have things that need doing before I can even consider leaving, not that I'll be much help in repairing these frazzled minds." She doesn't know anything about Rogue as of recently considering Mystique had led her go off of her own accord rather than constantly demanding to know what's going on in her life.
