Breakfast of Champions [OTA]

To say that she felt like shit would quite possibly be the understatement of the year. Even though she had slept like a stone after returning from the mission in a somewhat half-conscious state she did feel like someone had run her over with a truck-and backed up. Several times. What really bothered her was that she didn't know why-she had done everything she usually did to refuel, slept a lot and eaten more than she thought was possible. It also couldn't be her conscience. Last time she checked, she didn't have one.

So her mood this morning was less than stellar. A book from the library under her arm she shuffled into the mess hall, grabbed a coffee and went back outside. There weren't too many people in there but right now she didn't really feel like having anyone around. That was something she probably wouldn't get used to any time soon, the fact that she couldn't avoid running into people, especially now that they had all been moved into one building.

Liv sat down in front of the mess hall and opened the book without reading it. She had brought it along to have an excuse not to talk to anyone. What she really needed right now was to dance, but she doubted that it was possible. Maybe she could ask if a pole could be added to the training room-after all that was quite a workout. The thought of the Captains face in response to that made her chuckle-and knock over her coffee she had put down right next to her.

"Ah, damn."
