What was really meant by the term extraction when referring to John was teleportation. He was their way into the camp once they were on the perimeter, as well as a scout for that matter, and with only a few hundred yards to go to the fencing it was easy to feel the team getting themselves all psyched up and prepared.

Barely within seconds of John disconnecting the line he had had materialised about 100 yards from Angel. Thankfully, having been around the mutants in camp now for a while John had been able to make some kind of base level connection to each of them. It was as if John could pick out specific signatures, latch onto that and find them. Which was always good, though when it came to the Captain John had been unable to locate him. All because he had hardly spent any time around the guy to make that mutation connection.
"You alright? I heard Haylie, Pyro an' Jack are having fun up there but we've gotta deal with this first. The sooner we have the Captain the sooner we can get Olivia to Pyro if he needs her." John approached, thankful that at least this location wasn't swarming with operatives for the moment. Holding out a hand John glanced around once more. "Teleportin' is the only option too, so you might want to close your eyes."

For all her adventures, she didn't have a lot of experience teleporting. All she remembered was that it had a tendency to make you nauseous. Trusting him, she closed her eyes and leaned in a little closer. She focused on her breathing. She had no idea if that would help but it was worth a shot.
