"No you may not." Betsy replied haughtily as she continued to poke around eventually coming to a weapon Betsy had never seen before. It might have been a prototype by the look of it but it was impressive. So of course, she wanted to "play" with it.
Only Betsy wasn't your everyday average telepath. While most mentally gifted chose to hang back and fight from a distance, Betsy thrived in the up close and personal. Hell, she reveled in it.
Katrina had been warned.
Betsy smirked at the smug expression and shot her arm up and around in a flash in an attempt to break the woman's hold by twisting her arm around.
That wasn't possible. Betsy knew how fast she was. She trained everyday. So when her back hit the wall with a thud, surprise and disbelief flashed across her face but only for a second.
Slowly, her smile crept back in. "Oh I'm calm, poppet. What are you? A time disruptor? Psychic? Did you slow it down or did you see it coming?" Betsy asked searching the other woman's eyes as she attempted to crawl inside her mind to find the answers herself.
Betsy ceased but the smirk only spread a bit as she glanced to her pinned form. "I would say that you've already taken action unless this is your idea of flirting."

"Funny you should mention consequences because if you don't take your hand off me you'd better hope your ability includes growing back a new one."
