Tabitha rushed to the rings, taking the early hour of the morning and using it to her advantage; the gym was open and on one was up early enough to be using it. Which gave Tabitha the perfect excuse to flip back and forth around the room like a monkey and not be pressured into an actual work out routine.

"What in..." he trailed off before looking through the doorway. The new resident blonde girl was practically bouncing off the walls inside. Fred was surprised he did not see Toad in the room, sharing in the chaos.
"...... uh huh," he muttered. He would have moved off and minded his own business unnoticed except that as he moved his hand off of the door frame, he knocked into a set of barbells. One fell over.

Fred stared for a moment at the young woman. What the hell was someone so... bouncy doing here? In the middle of military camp?
".... howdy." He said, taken aback. "Who the hell are you?"

"And you are?"

"Fred Dukes," he answered instead, still staring, absolutely baffled. Ophelia used to freak him out, but she seemed... real? Genuine, maybe. This girl reminded Fred of the whirling dervish pep-squad kids of his school years.
"Why you here?" he asked, genuinely clueless as to the reason. "What do you do?"

Tabby forms a few little golf ball bombs in her hand, really wishing she could make a bigger one but preferring not to make a mess that she'd have to clean up later, throws them towards a rather beat up placement mat and smiles as they go off and leave a cloud of stuffing in their wake.

"Great," he said, not sounding enthusiastic at all. "A'nuther one. We could have our own bomb squad with all the folks who cause explosions 'round here."

"I'm huge. So they keep me around as a human shield. And do all the heavy lifting." He shrugged, the movement obscured by fat.
"That's about it."

She's completely serious as she rocks back and forth watching Fred....and now she's craving Waffles, so it was a logical offer.
Toast would be good too.

Removing the hand, he glanced at the girl again.
"They Belgian waffles?"
He couldn't help it. He was curious. And the mention of food was putting him in danger of making a very loud growl from his stomach.

Tabby bends down and grabs herself a bottle of water, shrugging animatedly with her hand. "If I didn't learn to cook the necessaries of Waffles I'd have wasted away in a pile of bouncy Tabby shaped goo."

"Beats that Eggo crap." He mused aloud. "... I like eggs. Friend o'mine taught me how to make all sorts."
