Adding a second blade her pace picked up. Blue-green eyes remained closed as she counted out the steps and each change in pitch as blades wooshed past her. Easy enough to miss someone possibly coming in side and possibly informing that she was violating the curfew she, ah, knew she was violating.

Instinctively he pulled his guns. How was he to know someone was 'practicing' this late? It was after all after curfew. Could have been an attack. Could have been his lack of sleep.
"Put the swords down."

So she didn't exactly lower the blades per the order, but she did cross them on her shoulders with the blades pointed away and closer to their scabbards. This was like playing with fire but not so much in the proverbial sense of the phrase.

Slowly the fire seemed to retract off of the swords as if it were in water with a pace slowed by its want to be released. Once it had crept its way back up toward the hilts it vanished without so much of a trace of smoke. "Sleeping wasn't much of an option. Thought I would try to work some energy off."

"What you want be seriously bouncing off the walls in the morning like a person stick in a pinball machine?" The brow that Lyssa raised was much like his own, a slight snort and a roll of her eyes as she studied the man. Her gaze wasn't exactly that friendly falling more in to a line of measuring him up. Lyssa had half a mind just to go back to what she was doing before. Was he going to be a fraking tattle tale on her?

All right so there was a little sneer there at the end. Ryan was a grown woman. Grown ups didn't have curfews in the real world and from what she could tell this was still slightly part of that. It wasn't like Aly had planned on being there much longer but the more words that spewed from the gun toting man's mouth, the more she wanted to stay just to spite him.
