Mission; Team 5. (Acquisition: Tag, Noriko, Wraith, Folton and Rayne)
Missions were never Noriko's favorite things. Especially when the girl was put as team leader. When it happened at school, she questioned authority, wanted to know why she was put in charge. Here, however, questioning authority would definitely get someone killed and she wasn't looking to get killed.
She also wasn't sure what to make of being sent on a mission with people she didn't quite know. Wraith, she knew. She knew his abilities and what he could do. That worked for her. She was already aware of how she could use his abilities. Folton and Rayne were a bit trickier. She was partially worried they'd see her as a kid and not listen to what she needed them to do.
Shit like this was easier at school. And, somehow, slightly less dangerous.
Knock it off, Ashida, she thought to herself as she ran her plan through her mind again. You'll screw it up if you keep thinking like that. And that's how people get hurt.
"Okay," she finally said once they'd arrived at the site. She'd used the distractions caused by the other teams to get her group to their target site safely. "Wraith, I need you to start teleportng anything you think Stryker'd be interested in back to the vehichle waiting for us. Rayne, find out anything you can. If it's important, get it to Wraith. Ty, I'll stay by the door with you in case anyone comes. I'm pretty sure the two of us'd be able to shut anyone down before they can blink."
A brief look at the meter on her gauntlet and she smiled. The blue electric squirrel was good to go for a while.
