a very late return (OTA)
Nori had finished her extended mission almost a week ago. She'd delivered the necessary information to Stryker and then decided she was going to hole herself up in her room for the most part. She'd ventured out once, long enough to knock Jamie into a bag of flour as she got herself a bag of chips and a water before laughing at him and hurrying back to her room. Other than that, though, the electric squirrel had been in hiding.
She still had no clue what to make of her mission. Sent to retrieve a friend, Nori had purposefully let the mission fail. She wasn't comfortable with recruiting friends. Not for this hellhole. She was sure it was worse than school here in that while school was attacked almost monthly from outside forces, everyone on the inside of the team frequently attacked each other.
That's just the kind of environment she wanted to bring her friends into. Only not.
Sitting just outside the girls dorms with a turkey sandwich she'd had Esme make and bring her and a bottle of water, she watched the team members walk by, occasionally glancing at her gauntlets with a frown.
She made such a huge mistake coming here.
